Trains, Legos, Chips & Salsa

So last week my baby turned 4! Seriously, how is this even possible? I feel like it wasn't even that long ago that he was born and I felt way in over my head with a new baby. I'm amazed at the little person he has become. Since we had his baby brother Kellen hasn't had a chance to spend much time with just the two of us. We decided that for his birthday we would make a full day of it. We had a blast! His daddy met us at Fritz's which is a train themed hamburger joint. He LOVED it. I could barely get him to eat his lunch because he was so fascinated by how the trains brought the food to your table.
Once we finished up eating we walked around the shopping center for a little bit before heading over to LegoLand. Now let me tell ya, this is one of the perks of being a boy mom. I love legos and so it gives me an excuse to play with them while my kiddo gets to also. This place had all kinds of things to build, look at at, and they even had a couple rides. This place was amazing and I plan on taking him and his brother back in the future! At the end of the 'park' there is a store and we all got keychains for our keys and his back pack.
Before heading home we stopped for some ice-cream at Sheridan's. It was fantastic. Once we got home Kellen took a short nap before heading to dinner at his all time favorite mexican joint in town. He loves it mainly because his Uncle Joe (my brother) works there. We had a great dinner follow by cake before finally heading home for the night. He kept going on and on about how great his birthday was. I feel as if it was a successful 4th birthday, and can't wait for the many more to come!
